Anita Barone

Barone played in The Shoes, an episode in Seinfeld's fourth season. She played Gail Cunningham, a chef who is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. In the early 1990s she was a regular on the cast of Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone was also her wife, Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friendsthe premiere episode. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone when she left the show because she wanted to play a part-time character in a larger character, was her replacement. She was a star in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the beginning of the season (1995-1996) and The War at Home in 2005 and 2007. Barone was also a co-star in Daddio. Barone's other television credits include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone won her Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2004 for her work on the film One Last Ride. In 2010 three years after The War at Home ended its run Barone began her recurring role in Shake It Up, a Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones who was the husband of the character played by Barone in two episodes.
