Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is a singer/actress from the USA. The parents of Kristen Bell are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Her family was born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her parents are from Polish origin (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents in the world of entertainment in her early years. In 1992 she won her first part in the auditions for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent when she was just thirteen years old. She was then cast for newspaper ads and commercials for TV. She also started taking acting lessons in private at this time. Bell played an uncredited character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in drama and music club. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the leading Dorothy character. Bell was a student of musical theatre at the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. In 2001, Bell quit her university in order to play the role as Becky on Tom Sawyer. Her first film credits in Pootie Tang in 2001. Her scene, however, was trimmed and now her only appearance is in the end credits. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in the Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
